About this app

VidSaver is a video downloader that works from a link. Copy the address of a public post, paste it into the app, and the video is saved to your phone's gallery - no account, no sign-up, and no watching an ad before every download.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Copy a link in any app - usually Share, then Copy link.
2. Open VidSaver. The link is detected on your clipboard and filled in for you.
3. Tap Download. The file lands in your gallery, in an album called VidSaver.

WHAT VIDSAVER DOES NOT DO

To be clear about the limits: VidSaver only downloads from public links you paste in. It cannot access private accounts, content behind a login, or paid and DRM-protected material. It does not browse or search for content, and it does not host anything itself.

PERMISSIONS

VidSaver asks for access to your media library for one reason: to save the files you download and to show them in the Library tab. Nothing is uploaded, and no download history leaves your device.
