Starts at the alphabet
Level A0 assumes nothing at all. It begins with how each letter sounds, moves on to reading whole texts out loud, and ends in the places you actually end up: a shop, a hotel, an airport, the doctor, renting a bike, lost in a city you do not know. No conjugating and no writing yet, because doing that on day one is what makes people give up.

A course, not a game
Forty-eight units across A0, A1 and A2, with 605 exercises and 437 open questions. Every unit follows the same path: a real text you can read and listen to, the vocabulary from that text, the grammar explained in your language, and then exercises to use it. You understand first and practise after, instead of tapping buttons until something lights up.

Everything is free
Every unit, every exercise, every recording. Nothing is locked, there is no trial period and there is nothing to unlock later.

Works with no signal
Download it once and study on the underground, on a plane or in a village with no coverage. The whole course runs on your phone.

English, Russian or German. You choose when you open the app and can change it whenever you like.

More than grammar
Each unit ends with what nobody explains and everybody assumes: how a health centre works, why lunch is at two and dinner at ten, and why "coger" is ordinary in Spain and rude across much of Latin America.

Your data stays on your phone
No account, no password, no sign-up. Your name, your progress and everything you write stay on the device. No ads and no tracking.

The one exception is the writing checker. When you tap to have your text checked, that text is sent, corrected and comes straight back. It is not stored, by us or by anyone else, and it does not train any model. Everything else works with no connection at all.

The book
Ruta eÑe is also a printed A1 to A2 workbook, sold separately. The app works perfectly on its own; the book is for people who prefer paper.
