TeleSMS is your everyday SMS app. It sends and receives texts, keeps your conversations tidy, and looks the way you want it to.

It also does something most SMS apps do not: it forwards every text you receive straight to your own Telegram bot, automatically, the second it arrives.

WHY FORWARD SMS TO TELEGRAM?

Your phone is in your bag. You are at your laptop with Telegram already open. The verification code you need is sitting on a screen in the other room.

TeleSMS fixes that. Your texts arrive in Telegram, on whatever device you happen to be using.

• Completely automatic. Set it up once and forget it. No tapping, no copying, no opening the app.

• Keeps working when the app is closed. Forwarding runs at the system level, so it works with TeleSMS shut and your phone locked.

• Nothing gets lost. If you are offline or the signal drops, messages wait in a queue and retry until they arrive.

• MMS alerts. When a picture message arrives, TeleSMS tells you in Telegram straight away so you know to check your phone. The image itself never leaves your device.

• Every message is labelled with your phone's name, so you always know which device it came from. Useful if you carry a work phone or a travel SIM.

• Forwarding is optional. Never set it up and TeleSMS is simply a good SMS app.

Forwarding uses a Telegram bot that you create and control, with a token only you hold.

Your messages go from your phone directly to your own chat. They never pass through our servers. We cannot read them, store them or see who is texting you.

Setup takes about a minute:
1. Set TeleSMS as your default SMS app
2. Create a free bot by messaging @BotFather in Telegram
3. Paste the bot token and your chat ID into Settings
4. Send the built-in test message to confirm it works
