SCHOOL LIAISON aims to be the communication channel through which parents receive information about their student's performance at the end of each school day, directly from the school staff.

Three (3) actions are identified for regular notification to parents regarding their student: class attendance, behavior within the school, and participation.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIONS
Like a management dashboard or traffic lights, notifications are sent to parents using three distinct and meaningful colors: green to indicate the student's positive situation at school, yellow as a warning, and red to alert to a critical situation.

Statistics are generated for each action as notifications are received to clearly show the current situation. This information will allow parents to take appropriate action for each situation, either to maintain or improve it. The actions are subdivided as follows:

• Class Attendance
 Attendance – for students present in class for all scheduled classes that day. (Students who miss even one class will be marked as absent for the day.)
 Absence – for students absent from class for one or all of the day's scheduled subjects.

 Authorized Absence – for students with permission from the school administration to be absent for a valid reason.

• School Behavior
 Good Conduct – for students who have behaved appropriately throughout the school day.

 Misconduct – for students who have misbehaved at any point during the school day. (In class and on school grounds.)
• Behavior: No issues reported – for students marked absent for the day.

• Class participation
• Active participation – for students who, in addition to completing their homework and class assignments, demonstrated curiosity, asked and answered questions, or actively interacted with teachers and classmates during the day's class(es).

• Average participation – for students who completed their homework and class assignments and attended classes diligently throughout the day, but did not participate in class, ask or answer questions.

• Poor participation – for students who did not complete their homework and class assignments, attended classes distractedly (chattering, etc.), and neither asked nor answered questions. (A low participation rating will be recorded for the day for any student who has active participation in one subject and low participation in another.)
 Participation: Not applicable – for the student marked as absent for the day.
