SafePing is an emergency safety app that helps you quickly share your situation with trusted contacts when you need help.
Hold the volume button for 5 seconds to trigger SOS. SafePing sends a location link by SMS to your registered emergency contacts. Recipients do not need to install the app. They can open the link in a web browser to check your real-time location, movement route, and surrounding audio records.

Accessibility Service Notice
SafePing uses the Android Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService) solely to detect a long-press of the volume buttons — the emergency SOS trigger — even when the screen is off or another app is in the foreground. This permission is used only to recognize the volume-button trigger input. SafePing does not read, log, or transmit any screen content. It works only after you manually enable SafePing in your device's Accessibility settings.
SMS Permission Notice
SafePing uses the Send SMS (SEND_SMS) permission to automatically send a text message with a location link to your registered emergency contacts when you trigger SOS. This is a core feature that alerts your contacts even when you cannot speak or operate the screen during an emergency. A text is sent only when you trigger SOS.
