Accessibility Service Usage Disclosure
SafeScreen uses Android's Accessibility Service for the following specific purposes:

App blocking during Focus Mode — To detect which app is currently in the foreground so that restricted apps can be blocked during active Focus Mode sessions set by the user or parent.
Scheduled blocking enforcement — To enforce parent-configured time schedules by detecting foreground apps and showing the blocked screen when a scheduled restriction is active.
Uninstall protection — To intercept uninstall attempts on child devices and require the parent PIN before proceeding, preventing children from bypassing parental controls.

The Accessibility Service does NOT record audio, read message content, capture passwords, collect personal data, or perform any function beyond detecting the foreground app and enforcing the restrictions explicitly configured by the parent or user. All blocking rules are set by the account holder with full knowledge and consent. The service is fully disclosed to users during the permission setup flow inside the app.

SafeScreen is designed for use by adults and parents. Child device features are always supervised by a linked parent account. Uninstall protection must be set up with the child's knowledge and is intended for family use only.
