Set up structured viewing sessions with age-appropriate YouTube content, cast to your TV via any android device using Chromecast, and let the app guide your kids from entertainment to calm wind-down videos — so screen time ends without the meltdown.

FREE PLAY - For older kids, who know how to pick

1. Select which children are watching and tap 'Start Watching' — your child picks each video themselves from a parent-approved grid, just like any other streaming service
2. Set a sessions length so it never runs endlessly
3. Watch on the phone or tablet, or Cast to your TV via Chromecast.
4. When time's up, the session can transition to calming wind-down content that encourages children to walk away on their own.

1. Select which children are watching — KidSafeTV builds a playlist tailored to their ages and preferences.
2. Choose your session length (15 minutes to 2 hours) and energy pattern.
3. Preview and tweak the lineup before starting. Save to instantly load favourited lists quickly in the future.
4. Hit play — on the phone, tablet, or Chromecast to your TV — and the app guides the session from entertainment through to a calm wind-down.

KEY FEATURES

- Energy patterns on playlists: Choose from Calm Down, Peak & Calm, Random, or Steady modes to control how stimulating the content is throughout the session.
- Evening Protection: Set a time after which only low-stimulation content is allowed. The app checks the clock and automatically enforces calmer viewing across FREE PLAY and PLAYLISTS in the evening hours.
- Wind-down mode (optional): Sessions automatically transition to calming, zero-stimulation videos before ending, helping kids shift gears peacefully.
- Auto-Quiet: Volume decreases during wind-down video’s at a set time gradually to zero, lowering stimulation and helping kids to walk away from the screen.
- Region-aware content: KidSafeTV automatically detects your country and tailors playlists to videos available in your region — so you never hit unavailable content. You can change your region anytime from the app.
- Multi-child sessions: Select multiple children and the app finds content appropriate for everyone, with optional Young Child Protection.
- Viewing profiles: Set favourite shows, hide content you don’t want, and tailor preferences to each child (or group) watching.
- Session history: Track how much each child has watched today with a clear daily breakdown on the dashboard.
- Caregiver access: Caregivers can manage sessions for families they're connected to. Playlists populate exclusively with content parents have set as their preferences for each child or group.

- Tantrum Tracker: View 7 day watch time activity and corresponding behaviour feedback to see instantly if past screen time habits are effecting.
