About this app

SailSensor turns your smartphone into the control center of your sailboat, combining BLE pressure sensors on the sail, GPS, onboard NMEA instruments, and artificial intelligence to optimize every trip at sea.

SAIL THRUST MEASUREMENT
Patented system with sensors distributed across the sail (6, 12, or 18 sensors). Measure thrust vector, heeling force, and sail efficiency in real time. View the pressure map and receive instant trim advice from Trim Advisor PRO.

NAUTICAL CHARTS AND NAVIGATION
GPS map with colored track for speed, OpenSeaMap overlay with buoys, maritime and bathymetric marks, real-time laylines, and start line analysis for regattas.

NMEA WiFi INSTRUMENTS
Connect to onboard instruments via NMEA 0183 TCP/WiFi: depth, water speed, heading, water temperature, and wind. Automatic integration with sail sensor data for a complete picture.

AI COACH
Artificial intelligence that analyzes your polar data, weather conditions, and performance in real time to provide personalized tactical and tuning advice. It automatically builds your boat's polar diagram from real data.

AUTOMATIC LOGBOOK
Automatically detects sailing sessions, records GPS track, speed, wind, and sail data. Export to GPX for analysis in other software or to PDF for professional reports to share.

SAFETY AT SEA
- MOB (Man Overboard): GPS location, distance, bearing, and alarm
- Anchor Watch: monitors your position at anchor with an alarm if the boat is ploughing
- Heeling Alarm: audible and vibrating warning when the set threshold is exceeded

RACE
Start timer with 5/4/1/10 minute presets, starting line analysis with favorite leg and layline to optimize tacks.

MULTI-BOAT
Manage multiple boats with independent configurations: dimensions, sails, associated sensors, derived technical data (hull speed, D/L ratio, SA/D, capsize screening, Brewer index). All data filtered by active boat.

WEATHER
Real-time weather data from Open-Meteo: wind, gusts, barometric pressure with trend. Data priority: BLE anemometer > NMEA WiFi > Weather API.

SAIL MONITORING
Track hours of use for each sail (mainsail, genoa, jib, gennaker, Code 0, spinnaker) with a programmable inspection threshold.

BOAT TECHNICAL DATA
Automatic calculations: critical speed, Froude number, speed/length ratio, specific sail power, transverse stability (GM), and righting moment in real time.

OTA FIRMWARE UPDATE
Update the firmware of sensor nodes directly via Bluetooth from the app.
