Open MFD Remote turns your phone, tablet, or laptop into a wireless touchscreen for your Raymarine Axiom MFD. Drag the chart, tap any UI element, or just watch the screen mirror — everything stays on your boat's local Wi-Fi.

COMPATIBILITY
• Verified on Raymarine Axiom Pro 12 S running LightHouse 4.11
• Should work on any Axiom MFD that exposes the LightHouse 4.x mobile-app interface
• On the MFD: Settings → This display → Mobile app access must be set to "Remote control"
• Your phone needs to be on the same Wi-Fi network as the MFD — either by joining the MFD's own AP, or via a router that bridges to it (see the project README for a GL-iNet OpenWrt installer that does exactly that)

Sail safely. Open MFD Remote is a tool for working at the chart table or on deck — not a replacement for keeping a proper watch and a hand on the helm.

- Added a first-launch overview and "Try the demo" button so anyone can see the connected MFD view without owning a Raymarine Axiom.
- "Searching for MFDs" now times out with a clear "No MFDs found on this network" message and a re-scan button, instead of spinning indefinitely.
