About this app

Hart of the Preces is a personal initiative to make the Preces (prayers) of Opus Dei available to all people of good will. The Preces is a set of prayers in Latin which are said daily by the members of Opus Dei to honour God and to pray for the needs of all people. The Preces was compiled by St Josemaria.

This app has the following features:
• The Latin prayers said by Opus Dei members
• Translations – currently in English, Italian, Spanish, French or German
• Information about where each verse comes from in Scripture or Tradition
• Audios to aid pronunciation – normal speed and slow speed - click the audio icon next to the verse
• Pictures – use either default pictures or choose your own to help you pray
• Video tutorials to help you understand the Latin
• Optional highlight function to aid concentration or study
• New parsing function - click on a word to show its translation and grammatical parsing
• Full support for English, German, French, Italian and Spanish
