About this app

Never miss a deleted message again! Deleted Message Recovery automatically preserves incoming notification previews on your Android device so you can view message content even after the sender deletes it.

🌟 KEY FEATURES

• Real-Time Message Recovery: Captures incoming notification content from WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business as soon as it arrives.
• 100% Offline & Private: All message data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any external server or cloud database.
• Smart Message Classification: Categorizes notifications into Text, Photos, Videos, Voice Messages, Documents, Stickers, and Calls based on notification details.
• Instant Search & Date Filter: Easily search through saved messages by contact name, keywords, or date filters.
• Auto-Cleanup & Storage Control: Set automatic deletion policies (1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or Never) to keep your local storage lean.
• One-Tap Permission Management: Simple setup guide with transparent permission controls.
• Material 3 Design: Clean, modern interface supporting both Light and Dark mode.

🔒 HOW IT WORKS

1. Grant Notification Access permission on your device.
2. When a message notification arrives, Deleted Message Recovery securely preserves the notification text locally.
3. If the sender deletes the message, the notification preview remains preserved in your app!

⚠️ IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMERS

• Notification Access Required: The app relies on Android's Notification Access feature. It cannot capture messages if Notification Access is disabled.
• Notification Previews Must Be Enabled: If notification previews are turned off in WhatsApp or Android settings, message content cannot be preserved.
• Muted & Active Chats: Messages received while a chat is active on screen or muted (where no notification is generated) cannot be captured.
• Media File Disclaimer: The app captures notification previews and text descriptions (e.g. 📷 Photo, 🎥 Video) exposed by Android, not internal encrypted media files.
