About this app

This app is a revived version of the original "Open Link With" app by Said Tahsin Dane, which was removed from the Play Store in 2024, due to not updating the target Android SDK to Android 13.

Share the current web page from a browser to open in another app!

With Open Link With, you can share a link from your browser to this app, and it will ask you which applications to open the link with.

If you find yourself sharing the same url over and over, you can use "Add to Home Screen" feature to add your favorite link from your favorite app to your home screen.

Note: This app also fixes links for some of the most popular Android applications.
Not all but most of the links from these websites will be opened with their respective native Android apps when you share them with Open Link With.

The app uses internet to:

- Send crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics
- Send feature usage statistics to Firebase Analytics
- Resolve redirects of shortened links
- Find the title of the link while using "Add to Home Screen"

We never collect any of the links that you share with this app.

Was good, but now the last link in the list of browser choices cannot be clicked, which limits its utility for me. (Android 16). Please investigate. Edit- gesture navigation and link is not covered. Sent you an email with more details.

I love this app. I'm being locked in to using the systems preferred apps and not mine. No way to change it except delete the app that is trying force me to share the link with and the preferred can't even open link the it's trying to share with. They also removd the edit button on the preferred link drop down. The selections option button for my preferred apps is gone. l was forced to update to Android 16. I've had several problem besides this.

With this excellent fork for modern-day Android, Open Link With makes a welcome comeback to the Play Store, working exactly as expected. It's a necessary tool to eliminate the bother caused by those links that—for whatever reason—don't just automatically open in the apps you'd expect them to. Thank you to the developer of Open Link With: Redux. Highly recommended.
