This app pairs with the micro:bit from a Samsung Galaxy S5, but has a GATT error transferring files. Ironic that a Samsung app won't work on a Samsung device. I cannot recommend this app for use in education. Don't even tell the kids because it is a big waste of time.
Successfully paired. We flashed the find my phone sample. It worked once. We created a code online. However every time we try to flash codes there is a Unsuccessful Flash, GATT or bluetooth error. This is on 2 separate devices. It defeats the purpose of using the app as it's not fit for purpose. Screenshots available.
Sad that this is the only app for the micro:bit. The only useful features (uploading hex files and connecting) don't work well enough to have my students use it. I'm using an HTC one m8. The initial pairing fails in the app and must be completed via the phone's settings. After finally getting it to pair, the hex uploading and connect features fail every time. Tried unpairing and repairing but I get the same error that it couldn't connect.
Got it to pair after sometime ,the pairing code if far to fast to enter. After getting it pair the app failed to flush the micro bit, bit disappointed with this app is it supposed to be official one
Pairs fine and codes fine on Galaxy A6 Tab. Flashes examples ok as well. The big problem is that I cant save my own code or flash it over, get an error about only http allowed. Maybe I have missed something but this is meant to be for non techies.
useless on my samsung core duo phone. it won't connect. two stars because it did so one time, but i never got it working again. horrible and frustrating waste of time
