Pairs fine and codes fine on Galaxy A6 Tab. Flashes examples ok as well. The big problem is that I cant save my own code or flash it over, get an error about only http allowed. Maybe I have missed something but this is meant to be for non techies.
Sad that this is the only app for the micro:bit. The only useful features (uploading hex files and connecting) don't work well enough to have my students use it. I'm using an HTC one m8. The initial pairing fails in the app and must be completed via the phone's settings. After finally getting it to pair, the hex uploading and connect features fail every time. Tried unpairing and repairing but I get the same error that it couldn't connect.
Cannot connect with Bluetooth on Nexus 5/Android 6.0.1. Pairs OK using Android settings but app does not list it as a paired phone and cannot connect. Tried forgetting in BT settings and using visual pairing via the app. This also fails - phone scans for micro bit after pattern entered but never finds it and times out. Have reset flash memory with new block app over USB, no difference. Very poor experience..
Got it to pair after sometime ,the pairing code if far to fast to enter. After getting it pair the app failed to flush the micro bit, bit disappointed with this app is it supposed to be official one
Very disappointing if supposed to be usable by non techies. Tendency to disconnect and require unpairing after flashing code. Needs work.
I've been looking at the reviews and I think this is better working on different divice. as this is developed by Samsung mobile I would guess this is made to work with their phones made within the last year or so. Can someone confirm this works on the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge?
* Fixed the issue with runtime permissions on pairing activity
