About this app

This is the app for you who are undergoing, or have been treated for, cancer of the head and neck area, or are relatives of someone who has been treated and who wants to talk to someone who has been through the same thing.
The Oral and Throat Cancer Association has a nationwide network of so-called "equals" who are people who have been through cancer, and who want to share their experiences to help others in the same situation. All our peers have been through training and have also signed a declaration of confidentiality. That is, everything that is said between you remains between you. Through the app, you will find an updated overview of our peers, and can contact them via chat or phone.
We point out that our peers do not provide medical advice. They are not health professionals, but fellow human beings. They do not answer questions about diagnosis or treatment.
