Mahesh Seva Sangh, Pune was established in the year 1983 by far-sighted and dedicated members of the Maheshwari community, , with the objective of uplifting the community and carrying out socially beneficial activities.

To prevent the increasing unnecessary expenses in marriage ceremonies within the community, the Sangh introduced the concept of community weddings. The Sangh’s dedicated workers served tirelessly for 29 continuous years in this initiative and made it highly successful.

Considering the needs of the time, along with personal efforts to help marriageable boys and girls find suitable matches, the Sangh began organizing Bride-Groom Introduction Meets . Using both traditional and modern technology, these meets were made more effective and useful for the community. The Sangh also developed its own matrimonial app and website and made them easily accessible to the community.
