About this app

DarkShell is a lightweight, no-frills player for your own Xtream Codes IPTV
or media service. Enter the host, username and password your provider gave
you, and DarkShell turns it into a clean, fast Live TV / Movies / Series
browser, nothing more, nothing less.

WHAT DARKSHELL DOES
• Connects to any Xtream Codes-compatible IPTV service using your own
subscription details
• Browses Live TV channels, Movies and Series in three simple tabs
• Search within each tab to find a channel, movie or show instantly
• Save favorites and keep a Recently Viewed list
• Built-in video player with Chromecast support, send playback straight
to your TV
• Automatic daily playlist refresh, plus a manual refresh whenever you
need it
• Optional curated filter to show only NL/EN content

WHAT DARKSHELL IS NOT
DarkShell does not provide, sell, host, or recommend any IPTV subscription,
channel, or piece of content. It is a generic client, similar to a web
browser: you point it at a service you are already subscribed to, and it
displays what that service returns. You are responsible for making sure
you're entitled to use the service you connect to.

PRIVACY
Your host, username and password stay on your device. DarkShell has no
server of its own and nothing you enter is sent anywhere except directly to
the service you configured. Full privacy policy available in the Play

What’s new

- New Favorites tab on the home screen. The app now opens on it when you have favorites
- Favorite hearts now stay filled after restarting the app
- Live channels reconnect automatically when the stream drops
- Live channels are no longer marked as watched
- Cast button is easier to see on dark scenes and hides together with the player controls
