About this app

The SanDisk Ixpand™ Charger App is a file management application for your iXpand™ Charger. This application automatically backup your files to your 10W Ixpand Wireless Charger and free up space on your phone.1 Once the files are backed up, the application allows you to manage those files on the Charger and restore them to your phone.

Note: The application requires an Ixpand Wireless Charger to function. The phone will charge without the application.

To begin with- this app acted VERY wierd - including "updating the firmware" while the charger was not even connected(???) Furthermore, this app forces you to leave your wifi on, meaning that if you turn off your wifi it will be turned on immidiatly. Other than that, theres the boring bugs, such as "updating firmware" seems to be stuck forever, etc... Oh and the app used much more data than all of my photos/videos, so i guess it just stole data:(

Looked good but after the initial backup, the app doesnt update the backup i.e. backup the latest photos on the phone if any has been added or removed. Also, not sure if this is relevant given your data is already backed up on Google/OneDrive etc. Good idea but... not sure now...

no 5g wifi option. only 2.4. works great
