Having purchased several versions of Vantrue cameras I will say that the app has improved over time and makes it very convenient to download videos directly to your phone without needing to remove the SD card. Probably the only thing I would ask out of the app is that it would download to your phone automatically when it's able to without interrupting the recording method or having to do a manual download, like if your phone is connected it still records and downloads at the same time.

I’ve been really happy with my Vantrue dashcam. The video quality is clear both day and night, and it feels reliable and well-made. I like the peace of mind it gives me knowing everything on the road is being recorded. Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it’s running, it just works. Definitely a good buy if you want something dependable without overcomplicating things.

Decent app, excellent customer service. I've been using Vantrue cameras for a few years now. I don't remember having any issues registering for an account. I've reinstalled across several new devices without issue. Initially, connecting to the camera was a bit finicky, but that seems to have been resolved. Recently, their customer service also helped resolve a hardware issue. I am a happy customer.
