I don't like the app. It lags, takes a while to load, sometimes struggles to connect the app to the camera, it kicks me out randomly and it takes forever to download videos to my phone. There's a lot of room for improvement and I'd like to see it as other dashcam apps appear to be better. Also to add that my interface is not like what is pictured here.

Does what it should. Pairs with the N4 Pro without drama, pulls footage fast, and playback is smooth. Not flashy, but I don't need flashy. I need it to work every time connect, and it does. App could use a bit more polish in the settings menu, but that's a minor gripe. Solid companion app for a solid dashcam.

Will not reliably connect to app. I am using a Pixel 8 Pro with the latest updates to my phone OS and the vantrue app as of June 2026. I'm using a Sonnet 1 Pro with the latest firmware. Whenever I try to connect my phone to the camera to view clips, I have to go through a dance of force-closing the app, manually connecting to the device's wifi, and hoping that the app detects it. I will go through this dance about nine times, and on the 10th time it will connect without any explanation.
