About this app

Sansui Driver is the companion app for the Sansui smart rickshaw fare meter.

IMPORTANT: This app needs a Sansui smart meter fitted in your auto-rickshaw. It will not work without one.

WHAT IT DOES

• Live fare — see fare, distance and time from your meter as you drive
• Receipts — give your passenger a clear receipt
• Get paid — show a UPI QR for your own UPI ID, or mark the fare as cash
• Earnings — daily and weekly totals, and a record of every ride
• Works offline — once your meter is connected, rides and receipts keep working without internet
• Your language — English, हिंदी and मराठी

HOW IT WORKS

1. Fill in your details once
2. Connect your Sansui meter over Bluetooth
3. Drive. The meter measures the fare, the app records it.

The meter is the authority for fare and distance. The app shows what the meter says, keeps your ride history on your phone, and helps you get paid.

WE DO NOT

• We do not take your fare money. It goes to your own UPI ID, or you take cash.
• We do not show ads.
• We do not track you in the background.

What’s new

Rides no longer go missing. If you ever tapped Leave fare, the phone could stop saving later rides on that meter. That is fixed, and any phone it was happening to is freed by this update. The phone also notices at once when you switch Bluetooth off: the fare stays on the screen with a clear message, and the meter is found again within seconds when you switch it back on. A phone that already has a meter is never asked to find one.
