About this app

This simulator app allows you to intuitively understand "wave interference," a physics phenomenon that is often difficult to grasp through textbooks alone, using real-time animation.

Easily recreate and observe how waves generated from sources overlap and create dynamic patterns in space right on your device.

[Main Features]
✅ Real-time Observation of Interference Patterns
When waves from two sources intersect, you can clearly observe the movement of "antinodes" (where waves mutually reinforce and oscillate maximally) and "nodes" (where waves cancel each other out and remain still). Furthermore, the app visually animates how the hyperbola patterns of "antinodal lines" and "nodal lines" are dynamically drawn in space over time.

✅ Flexible Simulation Settings
Freely adjust the wavelength, frequency, and phase (in-phase or out-of-phase). You can also drag and place the wave sources anywhere on the screen to instantly experiment with how changing conditions affect the interference patterns.

✅ Reflection Walls and "Virtual Waves"
Simulate wave reflections by placing walls in the space. You can easily switch between free-end and fixed-end reflections. Additionally, the app features a unique option to "draw waves behind the wall." This allows you to visually understand the mechanics of virtual wave sources—a concept often taught using complex diagrams in physics classes.

Ideal for high school physics students preparing for exams, and as a powerful visual teaching aid for educators in classrooms. Experience the fascinating behavior of waves in the palm of your hand!
