ACCURACY

Calculations use the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, the sidereal zodiac, and whole-sign houses — the system used by most traditional Indian and Nepali astrologers. Time zones are resolved through the IANA timezone database, which correctly handles daylight savings and historical offset changes (important for births before the 1986 standardization in India, and for Nepal's switch to UTC+5:45 in the same year).
