Don't let sargassum ruin your beach day.
Sargasso Tracker shows you how the beaches of the Riviera Maya look right now — reported by the people standing on them. Check before you go, then help the next person by posting what you see.
WHAT YOU GET
• Map – every report from the last week, color-coded Good / Okay / Bad, with clusters you can zoom into. Tap a marker to see the photo and the details.
• Beaches – the catalogue of beaches from Cancún to Tulum, with each beach's latest condition and its history of reports. Search by name or filter by region.
• Reports – the newest reports first, filterable by condition.
• Report in seconds – pick the beach (or use your location), choose Good / Okay / Bad, add a photo and a note. That's it.
HOW IT WORKS
Reports come from beachgoers, not forecasts. "Good" means little or no sargassum, "Okay" means some seaweed but still swimmable, "Bad" means heavy sargassum. The more people report, the better the map gets.
