BTChat - Offline Chat & Feed

7Range Soft Solution

About this app

Imagine a social network and private messenger that works completely off the grid. No Wi-Fi. No mobile data. No phone numbers. No centralized servers. Just you and the people around you forming an unstoppable, living wireless mesh.

Welcome to BTChat — the next-generation offline Bluetooth mesh messenger and decentralized social feed!

🔥 WHY BTCHAT IS DIFFERENT

Most offline apps only let you send basic 1-to-1 walkie-talkie notes. BTChat goes beyond by turning any crowd into a decentralized local social network:

📱 SCROLL THE OFFLINE MESH FEED
Tap into the local crowd! Broadcast public updates, announcements, or thoughts, and scroll a live decentralized social feed shared across all nearby devices. Whether you are at a crowded concert, a college campus, a sports stadium, or an off-grid gathering, discover what everyone is talking about without a single byte of internet.

🔒 END-TO-END ENCRYPTED DIRECT CHAT
Need a private conversation? Chat 1-on-1 with cryptographic security. Sealed with Curve25519 (ECDH key exchange) and ChaCha20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption, your direct messages can only be decrypted by the intended recipient.

⚡ MULTI-HOP BLUETOOTH MESH ROUTING
Someone is out of direct Bluetooth range? BTChat automatically and securely hops your encrypted messages across intermediate phones in the mesh swarm to reach distant recipients.

📡 LIVE MESH RADAR
Visualize your local network! See active mesh nodes and nearby peers in real-time with an intuitive radar display that tracks peer proximity and signal strength (RSSI).

🛡️ 100% ANONYMOUS & PRIVATE
• No phone number or email required
• No central servers logging your IP or activity
• Hardware-backed cryptographic keys generated on your device
• 256-bit AES SQLCipher local database encryption
• One-tap Panic Wipe to instantly clear all local history and identity

🌍 PERFECT FOR:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• Overloaded Networks: Stadiums, music festivals, conventions, and packed events where 4G/5G towers collapse.
• Off-Grid Adventures: Hiking, camping, expeditions, and sailing far outside cellular range.
• Travel & Transit: Planes, underground subways, and traveling abroad without expensive roaming data.
• Emergencies & Disasters: Stay connected with neighbors and emergency volunteers during power blackouts and network outages.
• Campuses & Close Communities: Instant, censorship-resistant local bulletin boards and private chats.

PERMISSIONS TRANSPARENCY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

BTChat only asks for permissions essential to offline mesh operation:
• Bluetooth (Scan, Advertise, Connect): Discovers nearby peers and relays mesh packets.
• Foreground Service (Connected Device): Keeps background mesh routing alive so messages reach distant peers.
• Camera (Optional): Used only to scan peer public key QR codes for fast identity verification.
• Notifications: Alerts you when new encrypted messages or feed posts arrive.

Be part of the off-grid revolution. Download BTChat today and take full control of your communication!
