Charades, but you can only speak in emojis.
One player gets a secret word. They explain it using nothing but emojis - no talking, no miming, no letters. Their team has to guess before the timer runs out. Then the phone gets passed on.
It is the party game for the room you are in. One phone, two to twelve people, no wifi.
HOW IT PLAYS
- Split into teams, or let the app shuffle them for you
- One player sees the secret word and builds an emoji clue
- Their team shouts guesses against the clock
- Pass the phone, swap roles, keep score
- First team to the target score wins
WHY EMOJIS
Emojis are almost language-free, so mixed-language groups play together without anyone being at a disadvantage. A grandparent and a teenager read the same clue. Nobody has to be good at drawing or acting - just inventive.

- Nearly 800 words, each with four difficulty levels
