This lets the app detect website domains, block sites that match your accountability rules, and power website activity analytics when Home VPN Protection is enabled. The VPN is needed because Android requires VpnService for device-level website filtering across browsers. It is used only for Accountability Shield's website blocking and analytics features, and it is not a general-purpose VPN service.
