I was able to successfully scan a bottle of GTS/THH (2024) and Pappy 20 YR (2024) with the Selinko NFC tag and confirm that it had never been opened. The app correctly authenticated the bottles and displayed product details, including seal status. Note: does NOT work (nor seems to work) on standard BT products or ORVW 10YR/VWSR 12YR. I used a Samsung Galaxy S25. For this to work, you need to position your phone and put the cap of the bottle to the top left side (left of the camera) of phone.

just installed the app, didn't work so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still won't go past the "please scan" page.... I have several BT bottles that I was looking forward to trying this out on before I crack them open, too bad it's not what it says it is ..

Although a little slow to get the results after scanning the NFC, it was really cool how it was able to authenticate that my bottles were legit, and unopened! I was able to authenticate George T. Stagg and Thomas Handy, both from 2023. Did Not work for Stagg Jr. Batch #22... Maybe the Stagg Jr. It's fake... 😭
