About this app

Krishak is a mobile application by SBI General Insurance, aiming to empower farmers by providing access to policy and claim data of crop insurance under the flagship crop insurance scheme of Govt of India called Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). Farmers across all the states of India can utilize the services offered by Krishak app to support their farming endeavours & updates. The detailed features of the app are as follows:
Know your policy/Claim Status
Farmers can search their policy using the application number or bank account number to view PMFBY policy details and claim status. Upon searching, the option to download the policy document is also available.
Loss Intimation
This feature allows farmers to raise crop loss intimation. Once raised, they can track the status of their intimation.
Grievance
Farmers can seek assistance for any queries or issues through the toll-free number and email address provided in this section. Contact information is also available for every state to address any specific state-wise queries raised by farmers.
Buy Other Products
Through Krishak, farmers will also have the facility to browse and purchase insurance services/products other than crop insurance.
