About this app

Sbirù (also spelled Sbiru by many) is the app that helps you shop more consciously. Scan a product's barcode and in seconds discover its composition, with a clear score and explanations behind the rating.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan food, cosmetics, and pet products with the camera
• View a health score and the reasons behind it: ingredients, additives, and nutritional values
• Receive suggestions for better alternatives in the same category
• Create your profile (gender, age, weight, height, goal, and activity level) to receive recommendations that are best suited to you
• Create your pet's profile and take into account food allergies and sensitivities
• View the history of scanned products
• Help expand the database by adding products you can't find, along with a photo of the label

FOR EACH PRODUCT
Sbirù analyzes the ingredient list and available data and translates them into an easy-to-read rating. If a product isn't yet listed, you can report it and help other users.

YOUR PRIVACY
Profile data is optional and is only used if you want personalized recommendations. You can delete your account and associated data directly from the app at any time.

IMPORTANT
Sbirù is not a medical device and does not provide medical, veterinary, or nutritional diagnosis, treatment, or advice. The information is indicative and may not be complete or up-to-date: always check the product label. If you have any questions about your health, allergies or intolerances, or your pet's diet, please consult a doctor, dietitian/nutritionist, or veterinarian.
