I was a longtime user, but the latest version just ruined the app for me. The giant ads would be more bearable if they weren't super awkward ads for condoms or whatever (idk they're in German). In addition to this they had to go and mess up the cursor. The regular vertical cursor is invisible now, and the app just underlines a big chunk of the expression. Good luck guessing the exact position. The Caller ID feature that's been here for a long time was also another thing that's always bugged me.

Old app was great. Have side loaded the old app for years after it seemed dead since it was one of the only apps that did well simulating a Casio scientific calculator. It has now been destroyed with ads and excessive permission requirements. Until there is an option to buy a version with absolutely NO ads or unnecessary permission requirements, do not patronize these theives.

Try HiPER Scientific Calculator app instead of this. It is free with ads, but it works! And without needing permissions! This used to be hands down the best calc app. Now it won't even load correctly and hangs on ads when off network or airplane mode. Why does a simple calc app need a caller ID feature? To scam you. I used this for years. Update's ad issues killed it. Uninstalling.
