Privacy & Permissions
Pathnote uses your current location to track your visited areas.
However, your precise location data is immediately converted into coarse grid units within the app, and raw latitude/longitude coordinates are never stored or transmitted.
Only the grid areas you’ve visited are saved, and no data is ever sent to external servers.
All records remain entirely on your device, with privacy built into the core design.
⸻
Planned Updates (In Development)
• Export and import of visit history
• Achievement badges for milestones
• Scheduled recording (e.g., disable logging at night)
• Map style customization and switching options

With Pathnote, your journeys become visible footprints on the map.
Start logging your steps and discover how much of the world you’ve explored—one grid at a time.
