About this app

Scalix turns your phone into a genuine measuring instrument — not another cluttered utility app with five features you'll never use.

Level
A real bubble level using your phone's own sensors. Flat mode for tables, shelves, and tripods; Vertical mode for hanging pictures and checking walls. Turns green the instant you're level, accurate to half a degree.

Ruler
An on-screen ruler calibrated to your actual device size — not a generic guess. A quick one-time calibration against a credit card (every card is the same size worldwide) makes it accurate. Drag the cursor along the ruler for an exact reading in cm or inches.

AR Ruler
Point your camera, tap two points, get a real distance — using Google's ARCore to measure the actual 3D world, not a screen overlay trick. Falls back gracefully to the on-screen ruler on devices without AR support.

Convert
Length, weight, volume, temperature, and area — fast, clean, offline.

Currency
Live exchange rates that keep working when you don't have signal. Rates are cached on your device and refresh automatically, with an honest "last updated" indicator — never a guess dressed up as a live rate.

Why Scalix
- No account, no sign-up, no nagging.
- Just a small banner ad — free to use, not paywalled.
- Works offline for everything except live currency rates.
- A real visual identity, not a reskinned template — this app was designed to feel like an instrument, not a form.

Scalix respects your time and your storage. Install it once and it just works.
