KaapiOS turns the filter coffee maker you already own into a patient, smart one. Load the powder and water the night before. Set a time. At dawn, KaapiOS brews your decoction the slow way — soak, bloom, then gentle pulses of hot water — so the first thing you notice in the morning is the smell of fresh kaapi.

☕ BREWED SLOW, THE WAY PAATI DID
A good decoction is never rushed. KaapiOS stages every brew: a flash soak to wake the grounds, a bloom rest to let them breathe, then measured pulses that lift water through the bed a little at a time. You can watch each stage live from your phone.

✅ NEVER A DRY RUN
Before any brew starts, a three-point check confirms powder, water and carafe. Dry-run prevention keeps the brewer from starting on its own unless it was armed the evening before. A heater watchdog never lets the element stay on longer than it safely should.

Tell KaapiOS how it tasted: perfect, too watery, too bitter, too little or burnt. It suggests a small change for tomorrow's brew and applies it only if you agree, always within safe limits.

📖 RECIPES THAT TRAVEL WITH YOU
Your recipe is saved in your name. Try popular recipes from other kaapi lovers, and share your own if you like. Machine timings are stored separately, so any recipe brews correctly on your machine.
