100% of the time when I manually open the Influence menu, it does not open properly and I cannot close it. I'm forced to restart the app. 1-star deduction for that. But this also happens if I do so at the beginning when I am trying to decide what cards to discard. Then when I restart the app my game has not been saved. So any time spent thinking about my opening hand is wasted. Another 1-star deduction. Also, can't view explanations on career cards at beginning. Otherwise, solid implementation.

Hi Jake, I'm so sorry you're running into this bug! We are working on a fix. In the meantime, you may be able to avoid this by (1) closing app, (2) holding phone in landscape orientation, (3) opening app in this position. If this does not work please follow up at support@spiralburst.com! Glad enjoying otherwise : )

Decent game, it's not quite the same as Maracaibo because the devs chose to simplify the AI. My biggest issue is that the game is a bit buggy, with the biggest one bug being the nation progress tracker not opening up correctly 60% of the time which also breaks the UX and forces me to reload the app / redo my turn. I've worked around this by learning the stripe placements, but it is quite frustrating. Edit: ez fix for me would be if the devs listed the value of each nation below number of cubes

Hi Joshua, thanks for the review! About this nation track bug - this is a known issue we are working on. A temporary workaround is to close the app, hold the app in landscape orientation, then open the app. This usually fixes the bug on Android devices. If this does not work, please send an email to support@spiralburst.com!

I've had the physical version for months and have muddled my way through the manual and an intro solo game multiple times, but picking up the app finally helped pull the pieces together for me. The UI is a little overwhelming (a criticism of the game more than the implementation) and there are a few menu bugs, but overall really impressed with the launch version. The explanation text on the cards is a huge help and a great way to deal with limited screen space. I highly recommend.
