The biggest frustration with this thermostat is reconnecting the thermostat after a power failure. My home is in a rural area and I depend on remote monitoring and control of my home to manage utilities and security. This thermostat has problems auto reconnecting to my network. It can take days for it to reconnect without assistance. I have 48 active wireless connections including switches, well monitoring and security devices and the thermostat is the most promatic to maintain.

This app is terrible. The process of attempting to add in scheduled times is clunky, un-intuitive and frustrating. And since Trane decided to make their system incompatible with 3rd party thermostats, infuriating. If you force us to use your app, at least make it a good one. (the heat pump is freaking amazing. It's so quiet no one knows it's on, and adjusts the temps quickly. The HP gets all the stars. )

I have found the schedule management (create ir modify) in the app to be troublesome. What I have done is create or modify schedule via Trane Home web, which is much more user friendly, and apply to your thermostat, then go to Mobile app and use the Save As option to save it. You will then be able to Load and Apply via Mobile app. A nice to have for the mobile or web apps would be ability to create an Automation based on Outdoor temp and be able to Run a certain schedule based on Outdoor temp.
