Limited compatibility with Alexa. Limited amount of sensors (compared to Ecobee). Tough to balance a three story house without being able to weight the sensors manually or sensing activity in the room. While it does allow you to activate and deactivate sensors that are counted for averaging, I don't want an average, I need a balance. Sensor name changes in the app don't always roll back and forth from and to the base unit, the phone app and the web interface. It's kinda a gamble. Needs more work

Trane is trying so hard to pretend it's a smart home app that it fails at controlling my heat pump. Actually doing thermostat functions in the app sucks. The easy to find high level menu is all dumb features I never use (videos, news, events) meanwhile it takes 3 clicks to find a thermostat function like adjusting my schedule. Doesn't show notifications that appear on my wall thermostat, so the app can't really be the gateway to the one piece of Trane equipment I own.

Usually fine. It cooling quit yesterday evening and I didn't have time to look at it. My wife called the rep and they couldn't get anyone out until tomorrow. It's very hot upstairs so my wife was preparing us to sleep down stairs (not all units were unresponsive). After fumbling with it for a bit I found an error 126, nothing else. On the web found a suggestion to reset it, cool. Now which unit resets it (several controllers in this part of the house). Found it, reset it, it's working now
