**Know exactly what you own - before you need to prove it.**

Home Inventory is a private, offline record of everything in your household. It
takes an afternoon to build and it is the difference between a claim you can
substantiate and a list you write from memory in the worst week of your year.

**Record everything, room by room**
Photograph each item, note the brand, model and serial number, and file it into a
room and a category. Twelve rooms and fifteen categories are ready to go, and you
can add your own.

**Keep the proof, not just the list**
Attach receipts, valuations and warranty certificates to the items they belong
to. Serial numbers sit beside a copy button, because that is what you will be
transcribing into a claim form.

**Never lose a warranty by accident**
Enter a purchase date and a warranty length and the expiry works itself out. Get
a reminder before cover lapses - scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server.

**See what your contents are actually worth**
Track what you paid, what it would cost to replace today, and what your policy
covers, per item and across the household. Quantities are counted properly: six
dining chairs at $180 are $1,080 of contents, not $180.

**Find the gaps before an insurer does**
The app shows you which items are missing a photo, a serial number or a value -
because an inventory is only worth something if it is complete, and the moment
you find out it is not is the worst possible moment.

**Be ready for a claim**
Generate a professional PDF inventory report, a high-value items report, a
warranty report or a missing-information report. Export to CSV. Keep a portable
backup of everything.

**Completely private**
There is no account, no cloud and no sign-in. Your inventory is stored on your
device. Schmapps cannot see what you own, because it never reaches us. The app
works entirely offline, and your information leaves your phone only when you
choose to export or share it.
