Things you need to know:

- Your school must be subscribed to School Gateway before you can use this app
- Your school controls the information shared with you
- To register/login, your school must have your email address and phone number on their system. If you can’t log in, please check these details are up to date at your school
- Your account will automatically display information for multiple children /schools as long as the schools use School Gateway. Please check your email address and mobile number at all your schools match
- You must turn on push notifications for the app to receive messages and updates from your school

Without a doubt the least user friendly app I've ever seen. The only way I managed to book a session was by apparently adding credit for a club, then using it for a booking? All by guesswork though!! The normal route of choosing a slot, adding it to a basket then checking out just doesn't work. Someone from the development team needs to try the workflow, it's completely confusing, not intuitive at all and really hard to actually book things. You got 1 star because I can't score zero

I'm sorry you're having problems with booking and paying for a club. It would be good to understand what happens when you try to checkout. I have seen that you have sent an email so I will reply further to you there.

Frustrating. Normal purchase systems work my selecting your choices and adding to a basket, then, go to your basket and edit or proceed to payment. This app (and website) seem to have a completely unfathomable way of trying to 'buy' things. For example, make a selection but then no way to add that to your basket, or even see it under payments. The terminology on pages is also really bad, it says add to basket (3 times) but then your basket is still empty.

I'm sorry you're having problems with the app. You only need to 'add to basket' once for the item to show in the basket, so I'm not sure what is happening in your scenario. Absolutely rubbish! So temperamental. I stopped getting notifications about 6 months or more ago without me changing any settings. I have missed important messages including a celebration assembly for my son. I have checked & double checked the app's and my phone's settings, & notifications are definitely switched on. So no idea why the app doesn't notify me!! I only see messages if I physically open the app to check. But obviously if I'm not expecting anything, I don't think to check! Rubbish!

Have you changed phones in the last few months? If you are still logged in on an old phone, it can cause problems with notifications. If yes, please email with the name of the school so I can log you out of the app. If not please email parent support so I can send you steps to follow to enable notifications.

What's new

IMPORTANT: Please note that maintenance is scheduled from 22:00 on 24 November 2022 until 23:00 on 24 November 2022. During this time School Gateway will be unavailable.

The release includes a couple of Messaging crash fixes. Thanks for using School Gateway!
