About this app
Vidyalaya Transporter is the companion app for school transport teams on the Vidyalaya (SchoolERP) platform. It helps transport managers organise their buses and lets drivers mark which students board and get off — quickly, and without paperwork.
The app works in two simple modes, chosen the first time you open it.
FOR TRANSPORTERS
• See all your buses for the school at a glance, with each bus’s student count and capacity.
• Open any bus to view its student roster.
• Generate a secure, per-bus Driver QR code and hand it to that bus’s driver — the driver only ever sees that one bus.
• Regenerate a bus’s QR anytime (for example, when a driver changes), instantly revoking the old one.
• Manage more than one school from a single login and switch between them in a tap.
FOR DRIVERS — NO EXTRA ACCOUNT NEEDED
• Scan the QR code your transporter gives you to open your bus. That’s it — no username or password to remember.
• See only your bus and its students.
• Mark each student as boarded on the way to school, and as dropped on the way back.
• Live counts (e.g. 12/20 on board) keep you sure that no child is missed.
• Exit driver mode when your shift ends; scan again next time to return.
SECURE & SIMPLE SIGN-IN
• Transporters sign in with a QR code from the school, or with their account.
• Optional two-factor authentication and easy password change from the Account screen.
• Your session stays on your device; per-bus driver access is granted by QR, not by sharing logins.

• Peace of mind for parents and staff — the school always knows who is on which bus.

GETTING STARTED
1. Choose your school.
2. Pick your role — Transporter or Driver.
3. Transporters: view your buses and share each bus’s Driver QR.
4. Drivers: scan your bus QR and start marking pickups and drops.
