About this app

JST School of Weaving is a series of instructional lessons where weavers learn at their own pace to weave on 4 shaft looms or continue on their weaving journey with renowned and sought-after instructor and designer Jane Stafford.

Each lesson demonstrates step by step instructions and will inspire weavers to design and create the best possible cloth they can – to care about graphic, colour, hand, and drape – from beginners wondering where to start, to experienced production weavers searching for new horizons.

Highly recommended! Jane is such a great teacher! I love her School of Weaving channel on Roku! She is highly skilled, very personable, has a wonderful sense of humor, and explains everything in detail. The pace of instruction is good (not too fast for a novice weaver and not boring, either). Each lesson builds upon previous lessons in a practical sequence. Thank you, Jane and your team! Love, Joy and Blessings to all! 🙏

I'm relatively new to multishaft weaving, and I love the app! It's so easy to print the materials and to cast to my TV for a bigger screen when I want to. The episodes are also broken down into bite size chunks, and I love that the app saves your progress on each video.

The Jane Stafford School of weaving is excellent. I can refer to the episodes when I need a refresher on planning/warping/weaving etc. If I want inspiration or a challenge. Jane and her expert weavers keep bringing us more. Try this today, its almost as good as a Jane in person workshop. I can watch and turn it off.
