About this app

The Elderly Housing Association has cooperated with the Hong Kong Observatory to add new functions to the Smart Security® service, including providing real-time regional weather information, weather warning signals, air quality health index, UV index and "special weather alerts" to users. The real-time weather information for each district displayed by the service comes from the Hong Kong Observatory website, and the air quality health index comes from the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department. The information in the Smart Security® service is based on the area and approximate location of the elderly for users' reference purposes. Enhanced services include:

- Weather warning signals and real-time regional weather information (based on the district location where the elderly are located) will be displayed on the map interface of Smart Security®.

- Smart Security® will send push notifications to inform users of weather warning signals and "special weather reminders" currently in effect to remind users to care about the conditions of the elderly.

- Users can freely choose whether to accept push notifications
