As others have stated, it connects once and then never updates again. No idea what the charger is doing since the charger itself doesn't have a worthwhile display on it. Also, disappointed that app requires an account, would much rather it just ran into my network and not have to connect to the Schumacher servers. What's the point of being able to check from anywhere when the charger never seems to update the app.

It works somewhat and is extremely basic. Every company seems to need "smart devices" but very few companies actually have the in house resources or capital to contract out proper IT development. This results in apps like this, that do the bare minimum to make it "smart" but don't really serve any purpose. Two major things that would help is live updates and graphing of voltage and current over time, and the ability to restart it from the app if the charging fails

Why does it connect to Wi-Fi and then never bother to update. I've had it charging for almost an hour, and it appears to be charging (status led is orange and it's warm) but the app hasn't updated the information, there no way to adjust the update frequency or view it in real time. It just says it's disconnected from the battery still.. disappointing.
