About this app

The SchuPowerTM app easily syncs your Schumacher Electric EV charger or traditional charger and maintainer to your smartphone or tablet, allowing you to wirelessly monitor and control your charge from any location.

For EV chargers, the app monitors:
• Current time charging
• Total time charging
• Charging history
• Input AC voltage
• Charging amps

For traditional chargers and maintainers, the app monitors:
• AC connection
• ON/Off status
• Battery condition
• Battery voltage
• Charger temperature
• Whether the clamps are properly connected
• Each stage of the charging process

The app needs a supported Schumacher Electric product to work.

Why does it connect to Wi-Fi and then never bother to update. I've had it charging for almost an hour, and it appears to be charging (status led is orange and it's warm) but the app hasn't updated the information, there no way to adjust the update frequency or view it in real time. It just says it's disconnected from the battery still.. disappointing.

Had for years no major issues. But note this device meets minimum requirements, and quality of life features absent from the app. Pros: Adaptive charging up to ~6A, basic battery charging error detection, just works. Cons: non-tech savvy folks don't understand what 2.4Ghz or 5.0Ghz wifi bands are...support for newer wifi standard options is missing. App is lacking features - no per charge session history, no event logging, barebones settings, no guest account support. No granular charge controls

The app works ok. And the charger is great but... it does not always refresh the stats while charging? I've found I need to unplug the unit, close the app....then restart and hook up to get updated numbers to come up. Then it continues fine. I wish the app showed more stats and historical data.
