About this game

This Physics learning game is a fun way ideal for middle and high school students to learn about reflection and refraction of light.
REFLECTION GAME -
Move mirror to reflect rays and prevent balloons from bursting.
Turn mirror to reflect light ray at enemy and kill enemy.
Arrange the direction of multiple mirrors to kill enemy.
If you miss any of these, you have to answer a question on reflection of light to continue with the game.
REFRACTION GAME -
Demo-
See a demonstration of how when light ray passes from one medium to another a change in refractive index of a second material changes the angle of refraction for a given angle of incidence. Observe that when the ray of light passes from a rarer to denser medium it bends towards the normal and when it passes from a denser to rarer medium it bends away from the normal. Also observe how for a given angle of incidence when light ray passes from a denser to a rarer medium it keeps bending away from the normal as the refractive index of rarer material decreases till at a particular value of refractive index the refracted ray grazes the surface between the two materials. The angle of incidence (for this pair of the denser and rarer media) is known as the critical angle as the angle of refraction becomes 90 degree. If angle of incidence is greater than the critical angle (for this pair of media) then total internal reflection occurs.
See another demonstration of how thickness of glass slab, its refractive index and angle of incidence causes a change in the lateral shift of a light ray when it passes through a glass slab.
Play the game –
Change the refractive index of second material to bend light ray towards enemy and kill.
Change the thickness of glass slab or its refractive index to bend the light ray to kill enemy.
Drag and swap slabs of different materials having different refractive index to kill all enemies in one shot.
Answer multiple choice questions - theory questions and numerical questions on the topic of refraction.
There is no time limit for the levels so you can learn at your own pace.
No boring ads to distract you from learning and enjoying the game.
