About this app

SCI Verification is the official mobile app for Supply Chain In-Sites (SCI) field workers. It is used by stalkers, farmers, and inspectors to capture verification evidence on site and submit it back to scheme operators in real time.

The app supports multiple verification schemes from a single install. The forms, photo prompts, GPS capture, and approval flow you see are configured by the scheme administrator — not hard-coded — so the same app works for British Quality Wild Venison (BQWV) deer stalking, low-carbon rice, shrimp farming, bakery hygiene, and any future scheme rolled out by SCI.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Sign in securely with your phone number and a one-time SMS code (16+ countries supported, including the UK, Thailand, India, the EU, and more)
• Pick the verification scheme you are working under
• Complete the onboarding once: personal info, certifications, insurance, estate or farm details
• Capture audit submissions on site:
– Photographs taken with the device camera and stamped with GPS + timestamp
– Free-text notes, dropdowns, and dynamic form fields configured by the scheme operator
– Temperature, weight, and other numeric measurements
• Submit and view a clean summary of every entry
• Work offline — entries are queued and sync automatically when you are back on signal
• Get approval status from the admin team and chat with the back office
• Browse and re-export your past submissions any time

WHO IT IS FOR

• Field workers (deer stalkers, farmers, inspectors) operating under a verification scheme that contracts with SCI
• Scheme operators using the SCI admin console to publish forms, review submissions, and issue verification

PRIVACY & SECURITY

• Audit data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (SQLCipher / AES-256 on device, server-side encryption on AWS RDS)
• Photographs are checksummed at capture (SHA-256) so any later tampering is detectable
• Personal data is processed only for the verification purpose and shared only with the scheme operator and the third-party processors needed to run the service (Twilio for SMS, Cloudinary for photos, AWS for hosting)
• You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time from the in-app Settings screen

You must be invited by an SCI scheme operator before you can submit verification data. Account approval is handled by the admin team.
