About this app

ScopeToBuild is a project and estimating tool for construction contractors. Run your jobs, price the work and get the client's signature — from the office or from the site.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Projects and orders. Track every job in one place, with statuses, types, dates and the people assigned to it.

• Estimates. Build line-item estimates from your own price lists, with units, quantities and markup. Send an estimate for signature and see when it comes back signed.

• Price lists. Keep your pricing in one library and reuse it across jobs. Import a supplier PDF and the app pulls out the line items for you to review before anything is added.

• Documents and photos. Store plans, contracts and site photos in folders on the project. Attach floor plans and add photos room by room.

• Client thread. Message the client on the project itself, with files and photos attached, so nothing gets buried in email.

• Your team. Invite your crew and subcontractors with the role and permissions that fit what they need to see.

• Reports. Generate a PDF of a project's progress, with the photos you choose, and send it on.

ScopeToBuild is a business tool and an account is required. Each company's data lives in its own database and is visible only to the people that company invites.

What’s new

PDF estimate import is faster and more accurate:
- Most PDFs import in seconds; unusual or scanned files are read with AI.
- After import, the app checks the totals against the document and shows any differences.
- Saved estimates match the PDF's line amounts, overhead/profit/tax and grand total to the cent.
- Fractional quantities (e.g. 0.25) are supported.
