About this app

Use the camera on your smartphone to count the score when playing Scrabble on a real board. SCORABLE is a simple tool that helps players to keep the score in an innovative and easy way. Turn your phone into a smart score keeper! Please note that this app doesn't let you play Scrabble on your phone or tablet, you have to have a real board.

• Just "capture/take a shot of" the game board with your smartphone or tablet. SCORABLE does the math for you.

• Alternatively, type your words manually using the keyboard directly onto the board. As simple as it sounds!

• Check words against the official Collins Scrabble Words dictionary (CSW2015) and solve all those arguments when playing.

• Have a time limit for a faster game, including automatic tournament-style chess clock.

• Have complete history of the game including the board state after each turn and simple statistics.

• Supports 31 languages. Dictionaries are available for some of them.

• Fully functional offline and no ads.

Free version of the application is usable for a two player game. More players and some extra functions are only available after an in-app purchase.

Application supports playing with official game sets and according to official rules. Not all designs are supported (the board must have clear lines between cells). Blanks are only detected if they have distinct color from the board background and have no symbol on them. Worn out or dirty tiles, tiles laid too much askew and other factors can decrease recognition accuracy.

This is the best Scrabble scoring app you can get. It allows for fast, accurate automatic scoring. You do have to pay for at least the Premium version if you want to use it with more than two players, though. You also have to pay a little extra if you want it to have a large Scrabble dictionary built in. Very worth the purchases, though, in my opinion. I have had purchase issues, but by contacting the developer, they can fix them up.

Honestly I downloaded this after three other horrid "scrabble scorer" apps, and was expecting the same situation. I, however, was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was well programmed, and although the design is minimalistic, it is easy on the eyes. The app will teach all your games and give you stats based on all those games. It also registers when you've used all the tiles and let's you know when the game is supposed to be over, but you can keep going if you so choose. 10/10

Hands-down, best app experience I can remember. It not only recognizes the letters and premium squares, scoring appropriately, but tracks tiles played, including blanks. Great, intuitive interface. Fantastic, ad-free app for free but I bought the upgraded version to support this developer. 💯
