Scrabboard Solver is an AI-based Scrabble solver with photo recognition. Take a photo of a real Scrabble board or import a screenshot: the app automatically analyzes the game and finds the best words to optimize your score.

Thanks to its neural networks, Scrabboard Solver recognizes the board, its angle, the placed letters and your rack directly from the image. The analysis runs locally on your device, without sending your photo to a remote server.

The app only requires 2 options: the dictionary and the board type. Everything else is automatically inferred from the photo or screenshot.

Ratings and reviews

This is what I've been looking for when playing against bots! I'm learning the way to think & learn the many different nuances of the game that bring on the points so when I do play against humans I am learning some of the tricks they use & it keeps our scores more even, more challenging. I no longer have their scores +300 over mine. It's a great learning tool!

The program does work relatively well, although there have been a few instances where I have found a higher scoring word than the program did. On the whole, though, it works well. The reason I only gave one star is that I payed for the "Pro" version which promised extra features, no ads and it would support the developer. While I am sure it supported the developer with a beer or two, there were no extra features and not all the ads have been removed. Highly annoying!

Rubbish! App keeps resetting and losing progress, requiring another and another screenshot. Second, the score it displays is never correct in the actual game! Thirdly, it does NOT select the best scenario every time!
