Scratch Course helps beginners explore Scratch basics, block coding, and simple game creation. With colorful Scratch learning lessons, practical tools, and visual quizzes, learners can understand game projects step by step.
Scratch Course introduces coding through clear English, playful visuals, and touch-friendly activities.
The app includes eight interactive lessons:
• Getting Started with Scratch
• Explore the Scratch Editor
• Make Your Sprite Move
• Events, Loops and Decisions
• Score, Lives and Game Feedback
• Build a Catching Game
• Build a Maze Game
• Test, Debug and Improve Your Game
Lessons cover sprites, the Stage, events, movement, coordinates, loops, conditions, sensing, variables, scoring, collision detection, game-over states, and debugging. Visual examples connect each concept to a game-building task.
Three tools support learning:
• Coordinate & Movement Simulator: explore X and Y positions, move a sprite, and view block guidance.
• Block Sequence Builder: arrange blocks, edit values, run sequences, and watch the result.
• Game Balance Calculator: estimate events, scores, lives, speed, and difficulty from entered values.
Two visual quizzes reinforce Scratch basics. Scratch Basics Challenge reviews core coding concepts. Game Builder Challenge uses situations involving controls, catching, scoring, lives, maze collisions, goals, and game-over logic.
Progress, tool settings, and quiz results are stored locally. The app does not upload projects, create accounts, or connect to Scratch services.
Scratch Course is an independent educational app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Scratch Foundation or MIT. It uses original illustrations and does not include official Scratch characters or copied project assets.
