About this app

IRL+ Cast sends live video from your phone to your own server or relay. Broadcast from the phone's cameras, plug in a USB camera, bond several networks into one connection, and read your chat over the top of it all.

IRL+ BOND
Our own streaming protocol, built around the way mobile connections actually fail:
• A weakening network is rested before it glitches the stream, then brought back when it recovers
• Keyframes ride two networks at once, so losses stop greying out the picture
• When a network dies, packets still in the air are resent on the survivors immediately
• A connection that drops rejoins at full strength
• Traffic is shared by what each network can genuinely carry
• Every packet is encrypted, and each connection negotiates its own keys

BROADCAST FROM YOUR CAMERAS
• Full screen live view from any lens, with its field of view listed
• Pinch to zoom, presets from 0.6x to 10x
• Video stabilisation, on by default
• 30 or 60 fps, with 720p and 1080p landscape presets
• Battery level and temperature on screen

EXTERNAL CAMERAS
• USB cameras wired straight into the phone
• Popular DJI and Huawei action cameras over USB
• DJI cameras over RTMP, connecting to the app directly
• SRT and RTMP in from a second phone, GoPro or Osmo
• Choose where the audio comes from

PICTURE-IN-PICTURE
• USB, RTMP and SRT cameras live at the same time
• Front camera inset over the rear feed, or the reverse

• Per-connection data usage, live and in history
• Data warnings per link, with optional vibrate
• Automatic bitrate reduction when the phone overheats

PRIVACY MODE
Pixelate the camera in both the preview and the stream, with a notice on screen while it is active. Screen lock freezes the controls against stray presses.

OBS INTEGRATION
Connect to OBS Studio over WebSocket and switch scenes from the phone.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking. All settings are stored on your device. Your stream goes straight to your server. We never see it, touch it, or store it.
