PlayFund turns screen time into something kids earn — not something parents fight about.
Kids complete real-world activities like reading, chores, or outdoor play to earn coins. When they're ready for screen time, they spend their coins. It's simple, visual, and built on trust.
HOW IT WORKS
Set up a profile for each child with a daily earning cap. Add activities like Reading, Homework, or Outdoor Play — each worth a set number of coins. When your child finishes an activity, they tap Log and earn their coins. When they want screen time, they spend coins to start a timed session with countdown warnings at 5 minutes and 1 minute remaining.
No device locking. No invasive permissions. Just an honor system that teaches kids to manage their own time.
FEATURES
Coins System — Kids earn and spend coins (1 coin = 1 minute). Balances, earnings, and spending are all visible at a glance.
Multiple Children — Each child gets their own profile with independent balances, streaks, and badges.
Savings Goals — Kids set a savings target and watch their progress bar fill up. Hit the goal and earn a celebration.
Badges — Five categories across five tiers (Bronze to Diamond): Streaks, Total Coins Earned, Activity Star, Balance Discipline, and Saver. Shimmer animations highlight newly earned badges.
Weekly Rewards — Kids who save coins through the week earn discipline credit and interest on their banked balance.
Spending Categories — Track what screen time is used for: Gaming, YouTube, Social Media, Movies, or custom categories.
Statement Tab — Monthly summary with day-by-day transaction history, just like a real bank statement.
Self-Log Mode — Toggle per child. Trusted kids log their own activities without needing a parent to enter the PIN every time.
Session Warnings — Countdown notifications at 5 minutes, 1 minute, and session complete — even when the app is closed.

PIN Protection — 4-digit PIN protects parent controls: editing profiles, changing settings, granting bonuses, and starting sessions.
