TWO THINGS IT CANNOT DO
We would rather tell you now than have you find out after installing.

An app that forces its own orientation still wins inside that app. ScreenLock+ controls the display, not another app's internal decision.

Android 16 and newer ignores orientation locks on large screens, so on tablets and unfolded foldables the lock may not apply. ScreenLock+ tells you when this happens instead of pretending.

ABOUT PERMISSIONS
Display over other apps is how the lock works - the app holds an invisible, empty window that carries your chosen orientation. It draws nothing you can see apart from the rotate bubble, and it cannot read your screen.

Usage access is only requested if you create a per-app rule, and only so the app can tell which app is in front. Nearby devices is only requested if you create a Bluetooth rule, and only to read the names of devices you have already paired. No scanning, no location.

Everything you configure stays on your device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. The only network connection the app makes is to Google Play, for purchases.
